“ We've been eyeing this Chinese restaurant for a bit and decided to try it for lunch. Upon walking in, the restaurant is on the smaller side but cozy, clean, and comfortable! Customer service was outstanding and the lovely cashier was patient, friendly, and polite. She answered all of our questions and made sure to repeat our order in case it was incorrect. Keep in mind that orders are packed in to-go style containers, which we didn't mind! It's easier to pack up and go if we didn't finish our meals. We ordered the following: Peanut noodles with ribeye and house noodles: 9.9/10 - for all noodle dishes, you choose your noodle type (they had a great variety to choose from like egg, udon, potato, house, etc) and you choose your protein too (ribeye, chicken, pork, shrimp, etc.). These were probably the best noodles I've tasted in a long time. The noodles came with a side of chili sauce and chili oil and plenty of roasted peanuts as toppings. I wanted additional chili oil (I love things super spicy) and paid for extra (it's like .99). The flavor was peanut-y, robust, savory, and hearty. The veggies were fresh and the addition of Chinese sausage added a pop of sweetness that I enjoyed very much. It also came with a fish ball. The fish ball was juicy and packed a lot of flavor. They don't skim on the ribeye and the meat was thick and juicy! The addition of chili oil and chili sauce tied everything together and my husband and I both said "Wow" as we continued eating. The noodles were cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the crunch from the peanuts. They added a nice textural contrast to the dish! I'm still dreaming about these noodles, days later. Zha Jiang Mian noodles with beef: 9.8/10 - our friend had this and he loved it! He's picky with certain foods and he thoroughly enjoyed every bite! I had a bite of his noodles and it reminds me of the black bean noodles (Jajangmyeon) from Korea, but a little sweeter and stir fried. I'm guessing this is their take on the dish, as I know other countries have their own variations. It was really delicious and on par with the peanut noodles. It also came with the fish ball and Chinese sausage as well! I would absolutely get this dish next time! My friend was lucky that my husband and I didn't eat it all! Dumplings (steamed or pan fried options): Steamed shrimp and scallop dumplings: 9/10 - this type of dumpling was made of rice flour and rolled. It may look simple, but holy cow was it flavorful and steamed to perfection! You can taste the freshness of the shrimp and scallop! The dumplings all came with dumpling sauce (I think a mixture of ponzu and soy sauce?). The sauce gave a refreshing, citrus pop and brighten up the seafood flavor. I also did a mixture of chili oil and soy sauce on the side and tried the dumplings with it. It added a nice spicy, umami flavor! Steamed pork and mushroom dumplings: 9/10 - I tried one and the star was the mushroom! I loved the nuttiness of the mushroom and it paired so lovely with the flavor of the pork. The dumpling was perfectly wrapped and full of filling! I don't like eating dumplings that fall apart after each bite, but here, they do it right. Smashed cucumbers: 8.9/10 - the cucumbers were fresh, citrusy, and had the distinct pickled, vinegary flavor and crunch. You can tell if cucumbers are fresh based on their texture and crunch. Each cucumber I bit into was super crunchy, even though they were smashed. I would prefer the cucumbers to be a like more spicy but if you don't care for spice, these are perfect for you. The cucumbers added a nice refreshing palette cleanser between bites of the noodles. The noodles can get heavy sometimes, so it's good to pair them with something pickled. The addition of the peanuts was chef's kiss! Pan fried chicken basil dumplings: 9.5/10 - the dumplings were pan fried to a beautiful golden color and had the right amount of crispiness. I enjoyed these dumplings and as soon as I bit into one, I could taste how juicy it was. The flavors were very aromatic and fragrant. I could taste the basil distinctly and it complimented the chicken to a T. The basil flavor was not overwhelming nor underwhelming, but just perfect. As with all the other dumplings, it was packed with the filling. I would absolutely get these dumplings again. Overall, we will definitely be back as the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. We spilt everything among us 3 and were full and still had some food leftover to go. Everyone agreed that all the items hit all the marks. The only critique I have is that I wished the dining area was a little bigger, as there was only one table and a high top area for seating. However, I understand that it's more so of a takeout restaurant. Nonetheless, please try this restaurant as you don't want to miss out on delicious and authentic Chinese food. ”
“ Dumplings are phenomenal! I did not prefer the broth used in the ramen, but other than that it was good. The staff was very friendly. ”
“ Delicious food!! What an unexpectedly great meal. This little takeout only asian restaurant has ample portions, quick service, and delicious food. We tried the pan-fried chicken basil dumpling and the sweet rice bowl with pork belly. The sweet canned milk was good, too. Definitely try this place out ”
